HD2 Stylus

Just found this article, it may make the HD2 a little more useable:

HTC HD2 capacitive stylus just around the bend?

By Darren Murph posted Nov 27th 2009 at 6:56PM

Ah, ha! Remember that curious patent application that popped up from HTC back in mid-August? You know, the one dealing specifically with a “capacitive stylus?” If UK e-tailer Clove is to be believed, one of those very devices will soon be shipping for the wide-faced HD2, though little else about the product is known. In fact, we're told that “price, specification and availability” are still being confirmed, although a preliminary asking price of £15 ($25) is posted. So, anyone already getting hot and bothered just waiting for this, or what?

HD2

I managed to bag myself an HTC HD2 on O2 the other day because my upgrade date was up.

I’ve been playing around with the phone for about a week now and can’t get along with it!  I have had quite a few windows mobile phones over the years so am use to the way they work.  I have been using my iphone now since it came out and have been spoilt by it.  Both the ease of use and how it just works.  I thought that microsoft would have at least cause up with apple in the OS front, but dissapointingly they haven’t! :-(

Because this phone doesn’t have a physical keyboard it needs to have a really good virtual one to make it useable, unfortunately it does not.  T9 auto correction is good when it works, but sometimes it just turns itself off without warning which can be annoying.

So, on monday i will be returning this phone and going for the Palm Pre, hopefully this will be a better experience.

Below if a gallery of the unboxing if anyones interested:

New Car

Today I bought a new car. A Toyota Prius, I’ll start posting some reviews of it and some photographs soon.

My first impressions are very good.  I purchased the car because i like gadgets and this car certainly has lots of them!  I’m getting around 55MPG at the moment, but that changes depending on how i drive it.  I’ll post some more information soon.

A good site for anyone looking for information is: http://john1701a.com/
